How to Obtain a Password

There are two types logins and passwords which may interest you:

1. The password to access the NVUG Forum.
2. The password to access the members-only area of the NVUG website.

NVUG Forum Login and Password

If you have mislaid your Forum password, you may use the forgot password link on the forum login form to generate a new password which will be sent to you by email.

If you have not yet registered with the Forum, you may go there and use the "Register" link near top-right to create an account.

NVUG Website Members-Only Area Password

Some features of the NVUG website such as downloads are available only to the staff of paid-up member practices. There are two possible passwords that you may use to access the members-only area of the website:

1. If you are registered with the NVUG forum, and you have provided details in your forum user profile which have enabled us to authenticate your membership status (e.g. NVUG member number, practice organisation code, INPS user number), then we will have enabled your forum login and password to give you access to the website members-only area using your forum login and password.
2. If you are not a forum user but your practice is a paid up NVUG member, then you may request a password using our password request form below. NB: this password will give you access to the members-only area, but not to the forum - if you wish to have access to the forum then register as described above.

If you do not have an e-mail address we can forward you a log in name and password by post. Please write to or telephone the membership secretary.
