The 2011 NVUG USB stick contains:
While NVUG has taken reasonable steps to ensure that this stick does not contain any malicious software, it is your responsibility to carry out virus checks or any other checks you may feel appropriate before using it.
Vision Bytesize is a service provided by NVUG for its members. Each Bytesize is a PowerPoint slide show with a small number of slides, designed to be viewed in 5 minutes or less. Each Bytesize demonstrates how to use one selected feature of Vision such as inactivating a repeat prescription. Simply click on each Bytesize to view it.
Bytesizes are ideal for new users and locums, and for in-house training sessions. They can be saved to practice networks or desktops, or run from the USB stick provided.
Further Bytesizes will be posted to the NVUG website in due course.
Guidelines are user-definable screens which can be imported into Vision and then either used as they are or edited to suit your own practice.
The stick contains two sets of Guidelines:
It also contains:
Any one of the Guidelines may suit your practice. Others may need editing to meet your needs. Some are for specific needs which will only suit certain types of practices, for example dispensing practices, those providing 24-hour BP checks, or those offering near-patient testing.
Practices are advised to check each chosen Guideline carefully to ensure that it matches the practice's data collection and data display needs. NVUG cannot accept any responsibility for adverse consequences caused by reliance on a Guideline which does not meet these needs: practices are solely responsible for any use of Guidelines which filter data entry and viewing according to the design of the Guideline.
For further information about the basics of managing Guidelines, open one of the PowerPoint slide shows provided.
Please note that the NVUG cannot offer helpline support for these Guidelines, and that the INPS helpline should only be contacted if you have general problems with Guidelines.
Please supply all details requested below.
NB: Only one application per practice please. NVUG Members only.
